Radjabov came to Sofia immediately after the last round in Baku, and got a bad start when he went wrong against Ivanchuk, and lost from a position where his opponent seemed to be the only player that risked losing. After the rest day Radjabov improved and ended up with +1 after scoring what was named the best win of the event, in Radjabov-Bu Xiangzhi

An even better game was maybe the fantastic draw with black against Topalov. Radjabov sacrificed queen and two pawns for two bishops, and still it was Topalov that had to find some very strong moves to secure the draw. Position after 25 moves in Topalov-Radjabov, with white having trouble finding any moves at all in spite of the material superiority:
