After being given his first invitation in a couple of years to one of the top tournaments, Radjabov had a terrible start with two straight losses. After that he played very well, scoring 4 wins and 8 draws in the remaining 12 games. He would have shared first if Leko had managed to draw with white against Aronian in the final round, but second place was a very good result. Radjabov won with black against both Topalov and Ivanchuk, and also the win against Svidler was impressive. Position before 14. Bxh6 in Radjabov-Svidler:
